A branch library of the Seattle Public Library system has been built on Fifth Avenue Northeast, across the street from the Northgate Mall.

The library is part of a complex that also includes a community center, recreational facilities, and a park.

The complex, including the library, was opened to the public on Saturday, July 15, 2006.
